This book is excellently written with beautiful background pictures. The author is a great Christian man and does a super job with this story. He tells the story of his wife's illness so wonderfully. I happen to know him and he is just a super individual. I recommend this book to everyone, expecially those who are grieving the loss of a loved one. This would be an excellent choice to read to a child after the death of a relative. It explains the death of a saved person so well. Love this book.Product details

I personally know this man and he has written a wonderful book for all to enjoy! Whether you know someone personally who has or is suffering from a chronic illness or just want to read a book of meaning, this is the one to get! It was written from the heart! Illustrations are great as well!
The Luvya Tree deserves a 5+ Star rating for its amazing ability to help those who have lost or are losing a loved one. The story guides its readers peacefully through one of the toughest dilemmas we face as human beings, death and grievance. As a counselor and educator, I will share this story will our local grief groups, Hospice organizations and their families and anyone who has or will be suffering the loss of a family member. The spiritual and family values present in The Luvya Tree are clear comforts for those left behind to manage personal sorrow resulting from that loss. I've used and reviewed many child centered and adult centered grief guides and bibliotherapy books but nothing this powerful with such an easily understood message. The message is suitable for children through adults who need help processing their feelings and finding a heart-centered, spiritual place to lay their sorrow. I plan to buy a case to share with my colleagues and family.
