I Loved Loved this book. The writer has a wonderful gift for story telling. I had a very hard time putting this book down as I had other things I needed to do. I felt I was right there in the story seeing the story unfold first hand. I can't wait to start the next book.I'm sure I will be right there walking through the book first hand as I did with this one. I really enjoyed reading this good clean book. Cassandra is a well written book that you don't want to put down! This book shows that even children with the right mentor can do great things! Having money is nice but this book shows that working together with friends you can do great things! Great read buy it and the pages practically turn themselves!
I was given this book for an honest review!
I really enjoyed this book. If you like Debora Geary's "Witches" series, and do not mind lack of supernatural, I think you will like it too. It is like a chicken soup for the heart. The characters are lovable, the story grips you ( I finished it in one sitting). I normally enjoy heavy-duty fantasy and thrillers, but sometimes I want to get away from explicit violence and just enjoy a heart-warming story, like Ms. Burnett's "Little Princess" from my childhood. This book fits the bill. The lines for some of the kids in the story are a bit of a stretch - too precocious to be believable - and the "evil" characters sometime come across grossly exaggerated, almost like caricatures (maybe intentionally?) . Still, it does not diminish the enjoyment of reading the story, and for an author who just started publishing quite recently, this is totally forgivable. Some of the story lines seem to beg for a continuation, and I am looking forward to the sequel(s). And if you like surprising novels, you may want to check out Ancient Birthright by the same author - a very original story!

A good book for the young adult. A bit predictable for mature adults but still a good read with plenty of action. Well written with a plot that works.

There was good character development. It is a great mystery and interesting how the motives are developed. Really like this one and the ones that follow. Once you read the first book, you just have to read the next ones. They kept me wanting to know what is going to happen to Cassandra!
I couldn't put it down. It was one of the most brilliantly written books I've ever read.
Extremely well done! I had trouble putting the book down and stayed up way late at night to finish it. Clearly this author has a talent for writing - his characters are believable, his story compelling and entertaining. I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next! A must read. Job well done!
